Aussie Matilda from Tamiya kit ?

Hey folks
Thinking about a couple of 1:35 armour builds in the coming months and fancied building the Tamiya Matilda III/IV as an Aussie one with the Echelon decal set... not sure how much difference there was between the two versions whether it's just details or major re-building.

Can anybody here give me a little advice ??. Thanks in advance.

Ian.

A few things I remember reading about:

1. The Aussies used different tracks to those used supplied in the kit.
2. Most Aussie Matilda's have a different style of side skirt.
3. Track shrouds were installed on the front.
4. The spare tracks were replaced by stowage on the forward track guards.
5. Spare track was often welded to various locations for extra protection.
6. A bullet splash guard was welded to the upper hull to protect the turret ring.
7. Turret stowage was different to a standard Matilda

Firestorm Models made a conversion kit for Aussie Matilda's but I don't now if it is still available.

Cheers,
Rich
