Tamiya XF # 4 German Vehicles, 4 Uniforms = Greys?

Hi there fellow model builders.

Would someone please tell me what grey Tamiya acrylic XF colours (jars NOT spray cans)were used on early war German UNIFORMS and VEHICLES?

Thanks in advance and cheers.

According to an old conversion chart I have, it claims that XF-63 is for german tank gray and XF-65 for german gray uniforms. I have both colors and to me the XF63 is a pretty dark gray, probably works well. The XF-65 is a field green that looks a little too green to my eye.

I'm not a color expert by any means. Just sharing the info I've found.

Here's a downloadable paint chart from Tamiya.

With grays, I'd go with the "that looks about right" method for selecting colors. You can always mix in some deck tan, buff white or even other gray to get where you want to go.
