Anyone have one of the new Revel Bf 109G6 kits they want to part with for a reasonable price? Also anyone know of a HK F-17F kit that does not cost an arm and leg? With the exchange rates it is becoming more costly to get the kits. I cant even find a 109 in a shop at the moment. Thanks all.

With the exception of the landing gear I don't think much needs to be replaced. I think someone questions the prop and spinner but it fits the part for me.

The cockpit isnt bad oob but there are some issues with thee spinner shape and the cheeks. I might get the Brassin set for it. I have ordered decals to do Stiglers machine and Ye Olde Pub flown by Charlie Brown. I'm humming and hawing on the B-17F though. I have a vignette in mind and have to decide if it is something I want to attempt. James I read the book, twice, really enjoyed it. Gave a perspective that could never be captured in a movie these days. Well maybe someone in Germany could make it (like Das Boot).

I forgot about the cheeks, I did get the quick boost set for the cheeks.

That was a great story! I read it twice also. The brotherhood Franz and Charlie developed after meeting again was amazing!

Reading at the end about all the families of the crew meeting Franz just wow...tears me down every time.
