Remember when the metallic pigment ruined my bench

Just in case you thought I was exaggerating the extent of the problem, that it was everywhere.

I just pulled some 1/35 resin heads out to check the ear sculpts today under the scope. These were in the bottom of a small plastic drawer in a housing at the opposite end of the room.

Pigment flakes.

I think you need to sell the house and move.

That wasn't far from my mind.

I settled for gutting and completely rebuilding the shop, including painting and new tools. I tossed out about 15 years worth of buildup and kept only what I absolutely needed.

It was actually refreshing since I got to reset things to make the work flow better.
