Hello there,

The 13th edition of Scale Model Challenge (SMC) is due on October 19 and 20, 2019 and do we have a great show lined up for you.

A large contest, open to modellers and figure painters of levels , a huge vendor area with over 130 stands where you can find everything, well almost everything, you need or want, and an exciting interactive workshop program where you can learn from the best modellers and painters.

SMC 2019 offers you workshops by Robert Karlsson, Roman Volchenkov, Tue Kaae, Ignat Pomazkov, Gerard ‘Shiftinglands” Boom, Dmitry Fesechko, Andy Wardle, Kirill Kanaev and Michal Dostál.

Please note that seats for each workshop are limited, so sign up now to ensure your place in one, or more if you wish, of the 11 workshops that we offer this year.

At SMC you can also find demonstrations by renowned modellers at many of the vendor stands as well, and if that isn’t enough, there are many clubs present with a stand where you can get more inspiration and information as well.

The registration for the SMC contest will open 1 September 2019.

Scale Model Challenge 2019 update

Hi there,
Before everybody takes off on their well earned Summer holidays we have an SMC 2019 update for you.

On our website we have published the list of judges , the list of clubs and the complete list of vendors that will be present at SMC 2019: 138 stand with 156 vendors from 24 countries from all over the globe. And oh boy, do we have a sweet line up this year.

Registration for the contest will start 1 September.

We’d also like to point out that there are still seats left at the different workshops that we are running during SMC.
Book your seat now before it’s too late.
We have some great artists lined up to help you take your hobby to the next level:

Dmitry Fesechko - Introduction to oil painting
Robert Karlsson - Introduction to the airbrush and contrast optimization
Roman Volchenkov – Universal and easy to use techniques for scale modellers

Tue Kaae – Building a better idea (Saturday) and Material Tricks (Sunday)
Michal Dostál-Working with oils, pigments and creating rust
Gerard Boom- Shifting Lands Hard Foam Workshop (Saturday and Sunday)
Kirill Kanaev- Painting WWII German Camouflage on a bust

And of course SMC 2019 has all the right elements to make the weekend of 19 and 20 October 2019 a perfect weekend amongst thousands of fellow hobbyist.
