Thanks Paul , yeah artistic license runs rampant , my son said , " Who cares about accuracy on the outboards , they look like outboards , you're building an apocalyptic thingie with dinosaurs in it , how can anyone fact check them , what color were they ? got any reference photos ? " .

LOL , yeah , I tried scratchin screws but they just didn't look right so I hit the spares boxes and found 1/72nd scale screws from an old Italeri S Boat that I made a water line build .

Merc's done , needs plumbing and hydraulics , weathering . Hopefully they make reasonable renditions of outboards .

This is basically the front facade in a nutshell , still tons to do , weathering etc.

Small update , still need to weather the cupola , add the front siding , ivy up the trellis , place a planter box at the base of the trellis and about a half a million other things . I need to use some indirect lighting to make the building visible yet still be able to see the spotlight lighting...

Ok , this is the Sea Shell Diner and Truck Stop thingie over the entrance . There will be a foyer/alcove underneath with a door on each side . Like this ..................

Ian , thanks man !!! , the backsplash on the griddle/stove is a bit of grill/vent work from a Tamiya M113 . The oven door next to the stove/griddle is a truck windshield , I forget from where , and the stove/griddle hood is the back of the cab of an ARV models M35a2 .......................... I...

Dave's not here , .......................... Cheech and Chong .............. I'd ask the diner/truckstop owner but it's an apocalyptic event soooooo he's most likely dead , well at least mostly dead . At a matter of fact Dave's probably dead too ....................
