This was a picture i took at the D-day 50 celebrations of the RAF Hercules setting out across the English channel for a parachute drop
Not great but in the days of film.
Today in the news the RAF has only been able to muster one, thats 1.. single aircraft for the 80th aniv parachute drop on the 6th June.
what an appalling state the armed forces are in. All the Hercules were scrapped last year and the A400 took over and we have just 22 and they are busy with supplies to Ukraine, Gaza etc.
What a bloody mess its just embarrassing to be British sometimes. .
