1/72 Mk.38 25mm gun barrel arrived from Poland right riki-tik! My impressed! I might have ordered a 1/72 17 pounder barrel for a project I want to make.

Beautiful! I want one! Don't have the skills for this though, much less the detail parts needed to finish it!

I don't either. Francisco is a talented artist as well as a modeler. He might be crossed with an architect too!
It would take gallons of RTV and liquid polyurethane plastic to do what I would want to do. The pressure vessel would have to be at least 24 inches in diameter. Pfoof!
Still, it is a shame there will only be 1 1/72 110' model.

I get to do the decals for the Big 110 too! Clear paper decals on the left, white paper one on the right. These are only paper proofs.
We surmise Rafy will make his own cutter, USCGC Chandeleur, WPB-1319. I put the sharkmouths in for the fun of it.
I did manage to resist the urge to fill the clear sheet with other Island class hull numbers and names. :wow:

I had planned to trick out the outboard and the mount for it, until I remembered we have to leave something for Rafy to build hisownself.
Mold box filled! Maybe I'll still add a stogie.

In spite of unscheduled tornader events and other excitement here, the mold for Rafy's 1/72 USCG rescue boat has been cleared and looks promising!

First castings of the 1/72 scale USCG rescue boat, outboard and propellers look promising.
A little more tooling is needed to to insure the relief of air bubbles when pouring the mold. :stinker:

The second mold is a 1/350 Sikorsky HH-3E Jolly Green Giant. I bought some more 3D printed models of her, but modifying every one to the
USCG HH-3F Pelican configuration I wish for seemed tedious at best. Problem solved! :yipee:
The mold contains separate nose gear and a scale rescue hoist the Coast Guard helo needs.
Yes friends, I made a model to go with my decals, rather the other way around.
My 1/350 Pelicans retain the USAF long range external fuel tanks. This is inaccurate, but I like the big tanks. They do clip and sand right off if you disagree.
Five-Star Sea King p/e rotors and tail rotor will finish the Air Station San Diego Pelican that rescued Maverick and Goose after their F-14 movie mishap.
