What is your base wood color? I like it!

Tamiya desert brown shaded with deck tan.

Do you have a set ratio? And do you mean XF72 or XF59 as your base color?

No not really. Not for this. just enough to highlight.

So you base coat in XF59? then add deck tank and highlight? followed by a dark wash of some sort?

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. I didn't try to be too complicated with the boxes.
