Hi all,

Building complete !
Time for some paint !

The things is more or less blue-tacked together so I can strip it for easier painting.
I'll need to sort out some accessoires, and try to find a figure that fit in the narrow commanders hatch.

First gray basecoat , than white wash

Feel free to comment !

Best regards from a sunny and warm ( 26°) Belgium.

Re:SiG 33 on Pz III ready to paint.

Nice work Kristof , after all that planning and am work , I sometimes feel it's a shame to paint the thing , they always look so cool in that just before paint stage .

Who makes the mg barrel [ sorry if you've already mentioned that ] .

Re:SiG 33 on Pz III ready to paint.

Cool build seems a shame to paint it.

Looks really great.
Kinda the Frankenstein of Panzer III builds.
"It's Alive" and looking sweet.
Keep sending those pictures. I'm really enjoying
this build.

Re:SiG 33 on Pz III ready to paint.

Snowwhite has been painted. ;)

Painted with the good old Humbrols and no hairspray technique.
This is the basecoat for further weathering.
Soon when the paint is dry enough we can go over to mapping drybrushing , edging etc...

Hope you like it so far and feel free to comment.

Best regards from Belgium.

Hi Kristof.

You have made another stunning build again, and now we get to watch as you go through the paint :) . In fact, seeing this has inspired me to want to do something with a winter white wash finish. Now I just can't decide if I want a new white wash, or an old worn out white wash  . I think I will watch what you do with this pretty little StuG and then decide.

Re:SiG 33 on Pz III snowwhite weathering started.

Hi All,

Finally I could find the time to start weathering snowwhite. B)
The first thing I did was some drybrushing to with white and grey to change the look from a sprayed on white wash to a field applied worn whitewash.
What did you think ? Feel free to comment please.

Cheers

Kristof
