UH-1D, UH-1H Hueys

This was to be out of the box.
BUT, I could not stand missing details.
So,
The front step added plastic and hollowed out.
Also added tow rings.

The kit has lots of great detail,but no front vents.
Now both have front vents, will clean up and paint.

Wow Sir that is some just neat work! The Huey is one of my all time faves, a TRUE workhorses if ever there was!
 
Wow Frank, I finally got caught up and found this. What amazing work! Brilliant man! A lot of this brought back memories of some of the D's and C's I built as a kid. I do need to try and build a few more.

Keep it coming man, I love watching these come together so fast!


Also, I think I may have driven past that helicopter on a stick in Northern Arkansas on my way to Chattanooga. I remember seeing something like it, but I may be wrong about it being that particular bird.

This bird was found on Hwy 23, north of Eureka Springs Arkansas.
It was at a roadside park and golf course.
You would have to be way off course to view this one.
In our neck of the planet, we have 4 cobras and one M model on sticks.

That is a H model.
M models had the single window in the side door.
They flew H models at Davenport.

So, I was able to get some bench time today.
All pitot tubes made of brass tube and solder.
Pitot for the H model. It will be mounted on the roof
