BV 138 Flying Clog

Well at least the instructions do well as a guide for scratch building the dolly. :popcorn

Change that to a dolly. I don't believe it's right.

Those aft supports are not the same in the kit. Also look at the number of wheels. They only provided 6. That one is probably easy to fix.

Finish da plane- that trolley can come later, if you ask me.

Such an amazing pic! Imagine flying up behind this poor thing... I really want to do this in 1/48! look what you've done to me, man....

Extraordinary job on this model.
I have just finished reading the whole thread and it is impressive tour de force.
Your skill at turning the "sows ear into a silk purse" is inspiring.

A thought on your dolly and the deadline. Could you set the dolly aside until you are past the deadline. While in the mean time create a cradle type of support- like they use to display ship models?

Thank you for the kind words. :D :D :D

As I was contemplating the many resin parts that have to be cut and the fact that I can't tell where they all go I have taken Chuck's words of wisdom and started cutting some balsa wood to make a cradle.
Looks like I will need to go by Hobby Lobby tomorrow and pick up more balsa of appropriate sizes.

I am disappointed in the transporter kit . I figured it would be work but without reasonable references it' gonna be a chore.

Maybe something a little simpler?

Looks really good :good:

Thanks for the idea . I think that's the exact same thing that comes with the kit. Very toy like .

Although there are some pictures of it I doubt that it could have been used for anything other than at the factory .

Thank you for your kind words . Cheers, Christian B)

I dont know if any of these will help Chris.
