Hey MP, that ti-color hard edge cammo can look pretty horrible without some weathering. If you are interested in a way to beat this up and age it a bit, some of these KT's that survived the 'Bulge ' battles went on to fight on the eastern front in the same cammo but with worn blotchy white. The extended time frame would then allow you to beat it up a bit and remove some of those 'boxy' guards that always ruin the lines on the KT's.

Thanks Ian, it's clear I have the last production run of the KT so I suppose we need to keep it in that time frame. Early '45 wasn't it? Maybe you guys can help me back date this a bit to fit the time frame you're talking about.

Seems like lately beat up and worn is what I can model so I would love to have some ref!

Screw it, y'all tell me what kit to get and I'll get it. I haven't bought a kit in a while and I need more supplies anyway.

Well I took a look at the kit and notice that the outer road wheels are not there, or not called for in the instructions. They may be in the box. I don't have the transport tracks and suspect I can buy another kit for what the Friuls would cost.

I like the idea of the Ardennes KT so lead me to it boss.

I have the Henschel and the Porsche turret with zimmerit. They are chock full of info. A handy little all in one book for this kit came out from Ammo of Mig. I'm going to look at my kit again, maybe start it.

I have that very same kit Bob. Just got it about 2 weeks ago. The box is 5 inches thick and STUFFED with sprues and parts. Maybe we should do an interior KT build. :hmmm

Be careful when pulling out the parts as it doesn't want to fit back in.
